Norway, one of the countries with the highest quality of life in the world, is planning to launch a wide range of job positions this year that may be of interest to Spanish-speaking individuals.

In 2025, the Scandinavian country will offer more than 15,100 vacancies in various sectors, with salaries exceeding $5,400 per month on average, which is 110% higher than in countries like Spain

From inexperienced mechanics to qualified lawyers

Vacancies are opening up in many sectors

Job opportunities include positions for both experienced individuals and those looking to start new adventures without a lengthy resume. Among the options are mechanic roles in the Nordland region, a position that does not require prior experience, and nursing assistants for elderly care facilities with permanent contracts, offering stability.

In the hospitality industry, Norway is in need of experienced waiters for temporary positions, and in the education sector, they are looking for early childhood education teachers with certification and an advanced level of Norwegian.

Other prominent positions include specialized carpenters in assemblies and finishes, childcare providers, and labor lawyers, the latter for fixed contracts in a key sector of the country. It is worth noting that in all cases, a resume tailored to the Norwegian market is required, and in some cases, a certificate of good conduct.

It is a simple process

How do I apply for those jobs?

The application process is simple through the EURES portal (eures.europa.eu), where interested parties can search for jobs according to their preferences and language requirements. Once hired, it is recommended to use resources such as the “Ny i Norge” portal for a smooth transition to life in Norway.

With competitive salaries, fair working hours, and inclusive policies, Norway emerges as an excellent choice for Spanish speakers looking to grow professionally and personally in a unique environment.
