Making ice cream at home is easier than it seems, and this recipe by Manel García and Hanna Buschmann from Addicted to Hummus shows just that. It will surely surprise you with one of its ingredients, cooked chickpeas, which will add an extra dose of protein and fiber to the recipe, as well as a creamy texture.
Chocolate ice cream
Ingredients
400 g cooked chickpeas
50 g chocolate powder
60 g sweetener of your choice
150-200 ml vegetable drink
3 tablespoons hazelnut or other nut cream
Elaboration
1. Freeze the chickpeas without any liquid.
2. In the blender, add all the ingredients and process well until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture
3. Place in a container and freeze for 2-3 hours.
4. Serve cold with a touch of salt. Awesome!
