Grand Hyatt Barcelona
The big party
An iconic hotel in the high part of Barcelona that many will remember for the famous nightclub of the nineties, Jimmy's, the most posh and colorful in the city used to gather at the lower levels of this five-star hotel, which has been part of the Hyatt chain since 2018. The establishment exudes elegance and savoir faire. The spectacular lobby in gold and black impresses with its spaciousness, and a few meters away a large central bar presides over the Sofia Bar & Tapas. It is in this place where the New Year's Eve dinner will take place, featuring a seven-course menu with wine pairing, which will also be enlivened by a lively musical duo until midnight.
After the grapes, the doors of Zuu - their night club - will open, where the party will continue until the early hours of the morning. Those who decide to stay overnight can sleep in and then enjoy a spectacular breakfast divided into three different sections, followed by a relaxing time at the Oasis Wellness & Spa by Natura Bissé.
Dinner price 190 euros, package with overnight stay included 800 euros (for two people).
W Barcelona
Ode to the opera
As every year, the W hotel celebrates New Year's Eve in style, and its parties always revolve around a different theme, this year dedicated to the grandeur of opera... an exceptional event in a spectacular hotel. It all begins when guests enter the hotel's Great Room, where a master of ceremonies with a cane, tailcoat, and top hat will welcome the guests and introduce the highlight moments of the evening with music and dancers.
Before starting this special banquet, an exquisite cocktail will be served. Once at the table, the gastronomic spectacle will begin with five courses and desserts, such as dentex served with mantis shrimp sauce, blood orange gel, and grey mullet roe, accompanied by wine and cava. At midnight, the guests will celebrate the arrival of the new year with the traditional 12 grapes, enjoying a fireworks display over the sea from the hotel's terrace. The night continues with an open bar until two in the morning.
The dinner and party cost 490€ per person, although it is also possible to enjoy a night of accommodation with breakfast for two in one of their spectacular rooms, starting at 1,424€ per room.
