I have walked through the Fageda d’en Jordà and its surroundings in La Garrotxa. Although it hasn't yet shown us the full extent of its charm, I have been able to capture in these photographs for The Readers' Photos of La Vanguardia some ochre, green, and brown colors that are not at all inferior to the best of autumn.

Autumn path of La Fageda d'en Jordà
La Fageda d’en Jordà is located about 5.5 km from Olot. It covers part of the municipalities of Santa Pau, Olot, and Les Preses, and is part of the Natural Park of the Volcanic Area of La Garrotxa. The beech forest is surrounded by several of the 21 volcanoes in the area.

The Fageda d'en Jordà covers an area of about 4.8 km2 and is full of lava formations that can reach over 20 meters in height, locally known as tossols. It is a natural reserve that includes a beech forest with unique characteristics in Spain.
